CASE STUDY – MONK BRIDGESam2021-07-15T15:21:10+00:00
This development is situated on the former Monksbridge steelworks site on the redundant Leeds & Thirsk Railway. The £105 million build will see the construction of over 600 new build to rent homes surrounded by numerous amenities including bars, cafés, restaurants and a public park connected back into the city.
The idea behind this development is to bring use to the historic Grainger viaduct. By constructing the 21 storey tower in correspondence to the viaduct the build will curve gently and overlook the river and city of Leeds. The building will consist of one, two and three bedroom apartments across five apartment blocks, varying from 12 to 22 storeys high. Adjacent railway arches are planned to be refurbished to accommodate retail and hospitality units.
YGHP were honoured when we had the opportunity to provide this prestigious build with 665 of our indirect heat interface units. By implementing YGHP heat interface units into Monk Bridge, landlords and homeowners can be confident in receiving clean and reliable heating and hot water directly to their home.
