Twin Plate Heat Interface Unit
The YGHP Mechanical Twin Plate Heat Interface Unit (HIU) is a high-performance, dependable solution designed for modern communal and district heating systems. Engineered around a robust twin plate heat exchanger configuration, the HIU provides hydraulic separation between the primary heat network and the dwelling’s heating and domestic hot water systems, delivering responsive hot water performance alongside efficient space heating.
Importantly, the YGHP Mechanical Twin Plate HIU has been independently tested and successfully passed the BESA HIU Test Standard, providing consultants, developers, contractors and housing providers with added confidence in the unit’s performance. BESA testing provides an independent benchmark for assessing HIU performance under recognised test conditions, helping demonstrate that the unit is suitable for use within efficient heat network designs.

Introducing the YGHP True All-in-One R290 Heat Pump Cylinder – an innovative solution that combines Domestic Hot Water (DHW), Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) and integrated Cooling within one compact unit. Designed for modern, energy-conscious homes, the system captures warm, stale extract air from areas such as kitchens and bathrooms and intelligently reuses that otherwise wasted energy to help produce efficient domestic hot water. When temperatures rise, built-in cooling provides additional home comfort without the need for a separate cooling module or add-on. By bringing three essential building services together, YGHP helps simplify system design, reduce the number of separate components required and maximise valuable plant space – making it an ideal solution for developers, designers and installers.
